After several years of creating Christmas décor and designs for events and interior designers, I started this Christmas blog to create all of the wilder holiday designs I dream of.
By now everyone has seen (and maybe owns) a flower market print or two, inspired by Henri Matisse’s artwork. I am loving this artwork trend, and I wanted to put my own Christmas spin on it.
I am a graphic and web designer by day, and some nights I love to spend the time before bed illustrating. It’s a quiet, calming thing I can do while I listen to music or a podcast.
One night I spent an hour scrolling through Matisse’s original botanical works and all of the recent prints inspired by him. Inspired, I made my own versions. Three Christmas botanicals straight from the North Pole Flower Market.
I am beyond happy to share these with you completely free of charge. You’re welcome to share them digitally (please credit me with @merriecompany) or print them out and use them to decorate your home or office. (Please note: these cannot be sold or distributed in any way.)
To download all three, sign up here and they’ll be delivered straight to your inbox. Nothing like a bit of merry mail!
If you enjoy Christmas botanicals, I made a Pinterest board full of holiday florals. I hope my North Pole flower market prints bring some holiday hope and joy to you.
